The refund and cancellation policy contained herein is binding on all its users. The refund and cancellation policy is to be read along with the terms and conditions of use and privacy policy. You are advised to read all terms and conditions carefully before making any payment for the use of services offered by M/s ConsultGenie. It is specifically made clear that ConsultGenie offers its services to you only if you are agreeable to all terms of this refund and cancellation policy in its entirety along with the terms and conditions of use. All refunds/cancellations will be subject to strict examination by ConsultGenie and its decision will be final and binding upon all users.
REFUND POLICY FOR CHANGE OF MEMBERSHIP PLAN
If at any time, a user upgrades his account by switching to a different membership plan by paying the additional fee, the upgrade is effected immediately. Alternatively, if at any time a user downgrades his account to a lower scheme, the changes in membership will take effect only from the beginning of the next billing cycle. There will be no refund of the fee for the remainder of the billing cycle.
REFUND POLICY FOR MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
(a) M/s ConsultGenie reserves the right to refuse or cancel a membership at any time without notice.
(b) A user can cancel his membership anytime by following the appropriate procedures provided in the web portal. However, a user is obligated to settle all balances and pending payments and only then will the minimum balance, if any be refunded.
(c) M/s ConsultGenie shall refund any balance within 5 working days by cheque in Indian Currency only.
(d) M/s ConsultGenie shall refund the balance amount only after all dues are settled. However, any service tax paid is non refundable or reimbursable as it is already paid to the Government.
CANCELLATION OF SERVICE
(a) Any service once availed, cannot be cancelled or refunded under any circumstances.
(b) Any service purchased or subscribed to, attracts a deal fee. However, subsequent cancellations or incomplete deals between buyer and consultant is outside the scope of M/s ConsultGenie. The deal fee once charged cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
REFUND IN CASES OF DEFAULT IN PAYMENT
(a) If a user has defaulted in the payment of membership fees, M/s ConsultGenie is entitled to deduct the same from minimum balance. There is no refund of minimum balance payable unless the user switches to a lower scheme.
(b) All refunds in cases of default in payment is subject to deductions of fees and other charges.
REFUND OF SERVICE TAX
(a) Service Tax paid as part of any transaction or membership fees is non refundable and no claims regarding the same shall be entertained.
(b) Service Tax paid on unused withdrawable account balances is refunded by M/s Consult Genie
REFUND OF PAYMENT PROCESS FEE
Any payment processing fee or other such charges levied by the payment gateway provider or the banks for payments made using internet banking or by the use of credit card is non refundable.
