You'll provide stable operations for the database servers under your area of responsibility in all data centers. Client responsibilities Manage operations of MS SQL databases and servers Act as an escalation point and manage problems and incidents related to databases and database servers under your remit Participate in the transition of support of new or modified database servers/databases. Get involved in database design to aid operational efficiency Support monitoring solutions specific to such products Provide cost-efficient, stable operations for the services in scope Manage the operation and delivery of stable services in accordance with approved service level agreements (SLAs) Identify operational improvements Implement changes that impact the application/infrastructure environment Manage and champion a functional cross-border organization with a single, mature culture. This should provide consistency of operations, responsibilities and cross- border reporting Establish a service culture with sufficiently ITIL-educated operations staff Implement standardization, automation and consolidation/centralization Participate in the development of annual budgets and manage expenditures in order to operate within the approved budget Participate in the development of the organizational and sourcing roadmap and direction for the area of responsibility Interface and consult with other functional managers within IT services to coord Desired Feedback Score:
